My daughter came to visit NYC in November and one evening we ended up at the magnificent Gowanus Ballroom for the Hurricane Sandy Benefit. This picture was the taken at the very end of the night before we caught a taxi back to the city. I thought it an appropriate wrap picture for the year and a suitable celebration picture to post for New Years Eve.

My daughter is now back in the UK, which means she will be celebrating New Years Eve 5 hours before I will in NYC. I’m not sure what she’s doing this evening, but I will be at Gowanus Ballroom again for what will no doubt be a great party co-hosted by Swimming Cities Collective and Gowanus Ballroom.
