StonesFest came back to NYC last week to raise money over the course of two nights at Bowery Ballroom for Sweet Relief, a charity dedicated to providing financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems. A righteous and seriously worthy cause.
Twenty eight songs were played by the CDB (Cabin Down Below) Band over the course of the evening, with guest singers ranging from Jakob Dylan and Norah Jones through to Jesse Malin and Perry Farrell. I’m posting some pictures from this amazing night of music here in this blog and more images can be found in this gallery on my website.
If you are in LA today then you should go down to the Fonda Theater where this travelling roadshow is setting up for the evening. Doors are at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm. And all proceeds go to Sweet Relief. If you can’t make it then make a donation on their website.
And if you want to see more. check the gallery in here as it has lots more pictures.
