Chinese New Year happened about a month ago and I was just going through the pictures I took from my window that day when I came across this one and thought I’d post it. Am not really sure what a group of Mexican dancers were doing in the midst of the Chinese celebrations, but they were there and they were having fun. And the chicken leading the dancers was having more fun than most.

And for some additional context, I thought I’d add this picture of the overall street scene outside my window during Chinese New Year. You can see the dancers in the bottom left corner. They really were seriously out of place surrounded by Chinese people in Chinatown during Chinese New Year. If anybody knows anything about them, please let me know.
