After catching the ferry across to State Island seven days after Hurricane Sandy hit, I wandered around on my bicycle looking for signs of the storm when I came across the 700 ton and 200 feet long John B. Cadell tanker washed up on Front St in the Clifton section. I’ve never seen anything like this before or since.
