Improv Everywhere No Pants Subway Ride NYC 2012

Improv Everywhere is a NYC based prank collective that was started by Charlie Todd in August 2001. The first No Pants Subway Ride was held in NYC in 2002 with seven participants. Over 4,000 people showed up for the NYC Ride in 2012.

This photo essay was shot over 4 weeks at the Tent Embassy established in Victoria Park by Isabel Coe and Kevin Buzzacott as a Land Rights protest and to create a visible Aboriginal presence in the centre of Sydney during the 2000 Olympics.

Birth Of Juna

I received a phone call one morning from my friend Brett asking me if I wanted to come and photograph the birth of his child later that day as his girlfriend Angela had just gone into labour. I was surprised as it was the kind of conversation I would have expected to have before the day of birth, but agreed to come down to the hospital later. When I arrived, Angela was still in labour but began to give birth to baby Juna about 15 minutes later.

Circus Oz

This photo essay was shot over 3 days in Sydney. Circus Oz was founded in 1978 and is now Australia's premier internationally touring circus. They were one of the very first circuses without animals and predate Cirque du Soleil by about six years.
