The Terrordactyl
Elwood, Melbourne 1990. The 6' wide, 3' long Terrordactyl was made from the dividing barrier between the front and back of a Toyota Hi-Ace, with fencing for the body, garden shears for the beak and rods and bolts for the eyes.

Melbourne, 1991. The 10' tall Tin Man was made in 6 hours from wheel rims and bumper bars found at Kinglake tip. The face was created using gas rings and a drainage grill. Rose was built in 1990 for a Mutoid Waste Co. party. See more small sculptures I built in this gallery.

The headlight turns on, the indicators flash, the bell rings and then the back wheel and pedal and chain turns, driven by a motor mounted on the chain. I built the 5' tall Angel Of Elizabeth Bay in 2 days from bedheads, a cooking ring and springs as well as car exhaust pipes and an air filter cover / Watsons Bay, Sydney, 1997. I built the 2' tall Two Faces using saw blades, chains and bolts and nuts as a present for Cathy Sinclair.

I conceived the MORE Drums as an interactive installation for public places using plastic industrial drums with wooden doweling for drumsticks. The police had blocked all the roads leading to Wooyung Beach and I managed to convince them I was dropping off building materials, so they let me through.
